to fight the good fight: “Be not afraid of them, remember the Lord, which is great and terrible... If God be for us, who can be against us?” 4:15-17... At this point, because of the prayers, the enemy was discouraged. Realizing the Saints were determined he withdrew his attack for another time. Faith Temple returned to the Wall! Everyone unto his work! One worked while another prayed... The rulers of the city, and even the locals got behind them and began to support God’s plan. They which built the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. 4:18-20... And Bishop Grant said: “the work is great and large and we are not always together in one place working but we have need of one another’s support ... Sound the trumpet if you see the enemy”... Cry loud! We will come together, believing that God Almighty will fight for us! Arm in arm we will band together.”  Zechariah 10:5... “And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, ...” Our enemy’s plan will come to naught as we press for the goal of our new church in Houston on the corner of Victory and Lawn! When the new church is standing, when the battle is over we will be ready for the next phase.... Souls, souls, souls, and more souls!... We will snatch the devil's victims from him through the word of God!... We will change lives! We will build the kingdom!... We will do his work while working out our own soul’s salvation! ... 2Cor 10:3-4... “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” Rom 8:31... “If God be for us, who can be against us?”

Neh 4:1... It came to pass that when the devil and his followers heard Bishop Grant had received the commission from the Holy Ghost to build in Houston, they were wroth, and took great indignation and mocked the Saints of the Most High God! 4:2... The enemies began gossiping and asking: “what do these few, feeble people think they can do in Houston? Do they really think they can work together and raise the money? Do they really think there’s enough of them to do anything? Ha!  4:3... A little fox will be able to tear down the work before it ever begins! 4:4-5... Seeing the enemy hard at work the Saints began to pray; “hear, O our God; for we are despised: turn our enemies’ reproach on their own heads for they have despised your plans in that they hope we don’t succeed.”  4:6... So, despite the devil and his followers the Saints began the process of build a new church in Houston... Ideas were formed, goals set, fund raisers began... For the Saints at Faith Temple had a mind to WORK! 4:7-8... But it came to pass that the devil, the gossipers, the back biters, heard that the work they thought would never begin had started... And they were very wroth and conspired all of them together to come and fight against Faith Temple, and to hinder it. 4:9... Nevertheless we continued in prayer unto our God and set a watch against them day and night, because of them and continued the work... However,  4:10-11... Some of the Saints began to look at the burdens set before them and began to ponder how hard it would be to overcome the obstacles.  They began to listen to the gainsayers and become discouraged... The enemy is and always will be working to destroy God’s plans... 4:12-13... Little did the enemy know, but the prayers of the Saints worked... We were warned that he was conspiring against us and we prepared for the next attack! 4:14... Bishop Grant inspired the Missionaries, the Elders, and the Saints
